Top-ranked Marvelwood played a scrappy and resilient Darrow Boys Tennis team in the first round of the New England Class C tournament on Saturday. Despite earning a win earlier in the season against the same team, Marvelwood came up short this time and lost the contest 2-4, with the outcome of one singles match left unresolved. The loss was disappointing, and clearly an upset, following a 10-1 regular season, one of the best in school history. During the contest, singles wins were posted by the number five and six players, Yong Seok Choi and Gyeong Min Koh, who also combined for the team's only doubles victory. - Coach Bingham
